Tuesday, Nov. 29: Partly cloudy. Highs around 13 below. Light winds.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy. Lows 18 to 24 below. Light winds.

Wednesday, Nov. 30: Significant snow is possible Wednesday and into Wednesday night.

A strong weather system in Russia will move east across Interior Alaska on Wednesday and Wednesday night. This is expected to bring 3 to 7 inches of snow to most of the Eastern Interior Wednesday and Wednesday night, including the Middle Tanana Valley. Middle Tanana Valley area includes Fairbanks, Fort Wainwright, Eielson AFB, Ester, North Pole, Moose Creek, Two Rivers, Fox, Chatanika and Chena Hot Springs.

Sourdough Camp, Salcha, Delta Junction, Fort Greely, Harding/Birch Lake, Dry Creek, Dot Lake, Healy Lake, Healy, Denali National Park, Cantwell, Carlo Creek, and Kantishna are also expected to receive a significant amount of snowfall also.

As much as a foot of snow is possible along the North Slopes of the Alaska Range from Denali Park West.

Snow is expected to taper off on Thursday.
