“Winter Warm Up” Bazaar hosted 53 homegrown vendors

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - The below 20 temperatures did not stop the people of Fairbanks from supporting local in search of their holiday gifts. It is officially the season of gifts and bazaars are one of the best ways to support small businesses throughout the holiday season. The “Winter Warm-Up Bazaar was held today, December 4, at the Tanana Valley Fairgrounds. According to Karen Lane, the organizer and Operations Manager for the Tanana Valley Fairgrounds, today’s bazaar was the third annual and also their largest event. Hosting 53 vendors spread across four buildings, shoppers could experience Alaska’s homegrown vendors. Most vendors sold handmade Alaskan traditional gifts and some memorabilia or holiday-themed flavored treats.
