Study ranks Alaska in top three destinations for healthcare jobs

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - According to a recent study, Alaska ranks in the top three destinations for healthcare jobs in the nation.

According to a study by Arkenea, an acclaimed healthcare software developer, Alaska has a number of factors causing the state to be ranked as the second best destination in the United States for healthcare jobs.

Alaska ranks highest in healthcare worker’s salary with the top 10% healthcare workers earning $75,816 - the highest anywhere in the country.

Alaska’s healthcare sector is also the largest private sector employer in the state. Out of a state population of 731,545, around 38,500 work in the healthcare industry according to Arkenea.
