ACROSS THE STATE, KETCHIKAN IS THE WARMEST WITH 57 DEGREES, WHILE THE NORTH SLOPE IS THE COOLEST.

THE SATELLITE AND RADAR SHOWS SOME RAIN MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH GULF COAST AND THE KENAI PENINSULA.

IN THE LOWER 48 A WINTER STORM WILL SNOW IS DEVELOPING ACROSS THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN STATES AND WILL BRING WIDESPREAD SNOW INCLUDING THE DENVER AREA. MEANWHILE, MORE STORMS ARE MOVING ACROSS TEXAS INTO ARKANSAS. SNOW AND RAIN IS OVER THE NORTHEAST AND , CLEAR ACROSS THE WORLD A TYPHOON IS TAKING SHAPE NEAR THE PHILIPPINES.

COOL AIR CONTINUES ACROSS THE NORTHERN HALF OF THE COUNTRY, WITH WARMER TEMPERATURES OVER THE DEEP SOUTH.

TOMORROW IN ALASKA MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES WILL COVER THE NORTH SLOPE WITH CLOUDY SKIES IN NOME.

THE INTERIOR WILL SEE LOTS OF SUN AND TEMPERATURES ABOVE NORMAL.

THERE WILL BE A FEW CLOUDS IN JUNEAU, WHILE KETCHIKAN WILL BE WARMER WITH SUNSHINE.

SKIES WILL BE CLOUDY IN BETHEL AND COLD BAY. ISOLATED SHOWERS WILL FALL ACROSS KODIAK.

SUNSHINE IS ON TAP FOR ANCHORAGE AND HOMER, WITH A FE CLOUDS IN VALDEZ.

LOCALLY TONIGHT WE WILL HAVE CLOUDS INCREASING GIVING WAY TO SUNNY SKIES TOMORROW, AND A FEW CLOUDS TOMORROW NIGHT. THE EXTENDED FORECAST IS FOR WARMER WEATHER AND PARTLY CLOUDY TO SUNNY SKIES INTO THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.
