FBI seeks information on charged former DHS officer
FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - The FBI is asking for any information relevant to charges that have been brought against former Department of Homeland Security officer, Bert Christopher Heitstuman.
In February, the Alaska Department of Law announced seven counts of Sexual Assault in the Second Degree and Attempted Sexual Assault in the Second Degree, being brought against Heitstuman.
Now the bureau seeks information regarding the defendant’s activities outside of the Anchorage area, including Fairbanks.
The press release states, “Heitstuman is accused of sexually assaulting three women over a six-year period between 2012 and 2018.”
